White Gobi of the Twilight Zone
A gobi of almost pure white that contrasts with the dark decor of the mesophotic zone.
I took this picture at 80 meters deep, where the light is very very rare. On this coral, a symbiotic gobi has chosen to copy the white color for better camouflaged. To date, this fish is not yet identified. This is the first time that it is posted in Mayotte
