Whale shark
"The biggest fish in the world"
Whale sharks (Rhincodon typus) are cartilaginous fish. They can sometimes be as big as 20 meters long, for a weight of 34 tons. It is the biggest fish on this planet. Unfortunately, the most common individuals do not exceed 14 meters. They are present in the waters of Nosy Be between October and December. To find them, you just have to find fish (bonitoes) hunting. These hunts are "easily" identified by the abundance of seabirds nearby.
