The whale shark (Rhincodon typus) is a cartilaginous fish. It may exceptionally reach 20 meters long and weigh 34 tonnes.Ce shark is the largest fish currently living on Earth. Its size is often observed between 4 and 14 meters.
It is solid, it moves slowly and is devoid of agressivité.Ce shark is completely harmless to humans. This giant of the seas feeds on plankton, algae and microscopic animals, it absorbs its wide mouth.
